A Case of Intralobar Pulmonary Sequestration Diagnosed Incidentally in a Geriatric Male

Pulmonary sequestration is a rare congenital malformation of lung in which part the supplied by an anomalous systemic blood supply from thoracic or abdominal aorta. This nonfunctioning tissue and lacks normal communication with tracheobronchial tree. It develops accessory bud. If developed before pleura formation, it results intralobar sequestration, extralobar, if after formation.
